Overview
About Me
I am a single mother of 2 great young adults.
Thrown in in jumbled order, we like travelling, all sorts of skiing in winter, camping, climbing, making sand castles on the beach and swimming in the sea rivers and lakes, cycling, hiking, playing music and singing, making campfires, spending time with friends, reading books in a hamac, taking roadtrips across Savoie, France and Europe with our little Kangoo and its roof tent...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In May-June-July 2015we are embarkied on an upside down adventure on the other side of our small planet, in NZ and Australia. For me, the aim was to speak english everyday but outside the classroom, meet new people, help out if we could, explore new cultures and approaches to life, spend time with my children, maybe even learn new skills... For the children, the aim was to learn english, develop autonomy and confidence and exlore their limits through going to school for 4 weeks in Wellington, then adapting to new places, cities and hosts as we travelled through Australia for 8 weeks.
No couch surfers replied the few time we asked, maybe it's harder to host families, I can understand...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"amazing"... not sure anything we do qualifies for that. But many fun things, like sleeping on a beach on a greek island in 2013 to gaze at the stars, driving to Romania last summer to spend 12 days of farniente camping outside some friends' little house with no running water in a village in the middle of nowhere... or just going to work in the morning on my bike and trying to enjoy what is happening around, or listening to an improvised choir sing a liberty anthem at the recent march for freedom of speech on Jan11th...
