ABOUT ME

I'm a stranger looking forward to not being a stranger. I currently live in Gatineau, about 10-15 min from Ottawa on the french side of the river.

I can be both very silly or serious depending on who I'm around. I like to be as open as possible, trying to learn things on the way. My profile says a lot about personality, but you'll know more about me by meeting me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very often available to meet people for a tour of the city, a coffee, a drink, a talk, a simple hello. Depending on your interests, I can give out tips and information on what to see in the Quebec or in the Ottawa area depending on where I am.

Musica, film e libri

Movies : from independent movies to blockbusters (though I can discuss this issue for a while), from cheesy horror flicks to more developed stories. As much as I like to laugh, I rarely enjoy comedies. I'm also guilty of loving musicals and the soundtrack that comes with it. Ask and I might have seen it, if not I might be interested in seeing it!

TV shows : die hard fan of Lost and House

Music : from electronic, 80s, rock, hip hop, to metal, soca, and some old stuff. It always changes. Elton John is my man.

Books : ...I hardly ever read books anymore. University used to steal all the fun! Now work does.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Being followed by seals while kayaking was very memorable. Seeing whales for the first time as well. Seeing every real life animals for the first time for an environmentalist is amazing!

Surviving my first snapping turtle as it was crawling around loose in a canoe trying to bite everything it could including me and the canoe.

Anything you'd care to share, especially fun travel and life stories. Petty much anything goes... I'm very curious. I don't know much about (international) politics or history since I tend to forget most things I read, but I'm all for listening because it makes it more interesting.

I can teach you some French and how to build a quinzhee during the winter. I have a couple of hidden talents that can be thought in some situations.
