About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To teach and be taught.

ABOUT ME

I love going on adventures and doing things most others would steer clear of. I won't allow myself to die until I've gone into space... at least once.

My time not spent working is used reading the latest world news, science and tech posts, and catching up with friends and family. I have a nasty bout of wanderlust, but don't really have the opportunities to get out and explore like I used to. Hopefully that will all change soon.

I love languages and others' cultures so please teach me something about you! I want to know.

PHILOSOPHY

If it wasn't a good time, it's a great story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've got a very comfortable couch that can sleep one, and a bed that can sleep two [if you're traveling in pairs]. If you don't mind, I've got a lot of floor space as well. I'm working on getting a futon for guests.

For the time being I am here to make connections with people from all around the world. I would love to hang out and show anyone around for a day, a week, a month.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well... a fellow CS friend invited me to a wedding of two CSers. What an experience! Everyone was so friendly, open, and willing to share something about themselves.

The fact that I, a stranger, am in their wedding photos should be a testament to how open and accepting the CS community has been to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

post-hardcore, metalcore, folk, ambient, experimental, dubstep, ambient, IDM, house, chiptune, acoustic, gangsta rap, practically anything but country-western... even so, i'll probably like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw someone slip on a banana peel. You may call it "Schadenfreude," I call it amazing. Seriously, I didn't think that happened in real life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to teach you about what I do.
I: make music with a Game Boy, enjoy military history, linguistics, cooking and baking, how to make cartoons or live-action movies, record music, hack consumer electronics, go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, paintball, exploring, etc.

I want to learn: all about you and what you do.

Though I have my personal qualms with this man, Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "a mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to it's original dimensions."

Well - trust the art, I guess.
