ABOUT ME
hey all, I'm Andrew.
I've just taken off from Australia to start traveling for a few years.
I'm 22, when I was back home, my life pretty much consisted of playing shows and teaching drums.
Havn't had a chance to finish my degree because i needed to change things around a bit.
PHILOSOPHY
things will work out if you keep your head
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just want to hang out and meet some cool people as i'm making my way around the place. I could always give some guitar or drum lessons while i'm staying somewhere? I'm always looking for places to play, or people to play with.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've not had any yet, but can't wait to dive in and meet some like minded people to have a drink and crash on their floor/couch for a chat!
Interests
i like a good drink, a reason for a good conversation, a good place to read, a good place to walk and/or a good place to get lost...there's more but it would be more sincere after meeting people i think

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is far too long to write down, there's not much i wont listen to in one way or another. Since i've been on the move i've only had two fantasy novels floating around my bags. I havn't watched enough movies to be an authority on it, but some that have stuck out and impressed are things like fight club, boondock saints, requiem for a dream, where the wild things are, watchmen...i can't think of anymore at the moment, but there's always something else
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think i'm still waiting for that one amazing thing worth writing as a "profile feature" but leaving everything i know and catching a plane from Sydney and hitch hike from La to Austin was definitely an experience. That and the hard sleeper down the coast of Vietnam was pretty inspirational.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess being a music teacher, i get caught up with that section of my life, and i couldn't be happier with sharing that, it's the only reason i took up teaching. I suppose that fits into sharing as well. As for learning, i'm pretty sure i've learnt something from anyone i've ever meant, and the more people i meet, the better in my opinion
