About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet interesting people and help them apreciate Namibia

ABOUT ME

I guess that most would say that I'm adventurous, open, honest, friendly, easy going, open minded and liberal. I'm pretty sure many would add controversial too.
I'm a very proud Namibian, but also a realist about what actually happened and is happening locally. I consider myself well informed about local, regional and global events. I pride myself on my ability to comfortably move among the various racial, tribal and economic groups that make Namibia so diverse. If this sounds strange to you, please see it in the context of Namibia's history. I also feel I am very well traveled with in Namibia and I love giving travel advice to tourists as I want to make sure they love this beautiful country.

PHILOSOPHY

Be marked and leave a mark on those you pass.
&
Think less, fly more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its great!

Interests

I'm passionate about history, cultures, development, politics and Africa.
I am a Civil Engineer by training, but I am also deeply interested in agriculture, business and economics.
Now the other side to me is that I love going out when I have the time, especially to the more locally flavored places. I do not regularly go to Afrikaans social spots, but get my regular fill at braai's, on camping trips and going to the farm.
