About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm live in Hartford. I direct theatre and go to school and make stuff and talk and laugh and cry. I really like hearing people's stories and sharing time.
PHILOSOPHY
This is something that I would rather talk about in a face to face conversation that online.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with and had coffee with a whole bunch of fantastic people on a solo car trip cross-country in 2012.
Interests
I do and teach theatre whenever I can. I love getting to work with youth doing theatre, they are so curious and adventurous and teach me things all the time. I hang out with goats as often as possible. Hens, pigs, sheep, cows, dogs and cats are pretty cool too. As are plants. I would like to learn to work with draft horses someday.I am interested in birth and have done a birth doula training. I love to hear people's stories about childbirth and parenting.I like cooking and doing elaborate projects in the kitchen (kimchi and ravioli were two recent delights), though I have been known to space out and burn things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend not to see a lot of movies, but favorites include Bill and Ted, Harold and Maud, Hedwig and the angry inch, Biutiful, Incendies.
Music i am similarly a bit out of it but I know the words to a whole lot of old folk songs and really like learning more. I am also a fan of anything I can dance to, and I will dance to just about anything.
Favorite books include The Man Who Fell in Love with the Moon, Peter Pan, You Can Farm (Joel Salatin), poems by Hafiz, many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saw a goat get his life saved by being stabbed in the stomach. (He had bloat- a build up of gas that can kill an animal if the pressure isn't released). That was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach: acting stuff, some basic gardening and animal care stuff, stilting, hula hooping, how to make kimchi/sauerkraut/pasta/yogurt, how to darn socks somewhat poorly. I want to learn: how to build and make more stuff (blacksmithing? cob? dumplings? sewing?) , more about agriculture, more about theatre, lots about birth and parenting, more Spanish.
