Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted in the past, but currently I'm just looking for the occasional couch to surf on. In the next year or two I'm planning to get my own place with more space and more room to host couch buddies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in Galveston, TX my roommate and I hosted a few people. It always turned out to be a great experience. What is it about you guys, that you just tend to be cooler than normal people?!

I surfed on my first experience coming to San Diego and it was a great time. I ended up choosing to move here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time at a benefit show for the free clinic in Galveston, I got to dress up like Elton John and play and sing "Your Song" to a full crowd at the opera house.

It rocked.

The next year I got to dress up with a mask and a cape and sing The Phantom of the Opera.

Also rocked. A different kind of rock.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a doctor specializing in Family Medicine. I've always had a big interest in mental health too particularly LGBT so I want to help expand San Diego's mental health services to this community. I love talking to people who also share this interest.
