ABOUT ME

I'm enthusiastic about life and pursuing my potential as a creative human being. Whether I'm traveling or creating new experiences here at home, I always find myself amazed with the world. I left a comfortable career in animation and film less than a year ago to join a local food company. What I thought was going to be an extended break turned into a lifestyle change. My eyes were opened to local agriculture and the food movement a few years ago when I first moved to California. Ever since then I knew it was something worth devoting more energy to. So here I am today, devoting my time to the sustainability and slow food movement. Ideally I would like to find a way to share that excitement with others who don't know/care/understand why food and farmers deserve more attention.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been involved in the couch surfing off and on for the past few years. Enough time to have met several generous people and experienced the awesome potential of this community.

*Apparently my "couch surfer reply" percentage is very low because when I first signed up I responded to emails without logging into the website. Just thought I would make that clear :)

Interests

From cooking, art, and urban farming, to camping, rock climbing, and mushroom hunting! I have many interests and love hearing about the interests of others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I never really keep that ultimate list of movies, music, and books, but I love all of these things. I read lots of non fiction and topics that are related to food, animals, health, inspiration, cooking, etc. I listen to a lot of rock, classic rock, acoustic music and consider myself an amateur guitar player. I have always loved movies and spent the last few years working in the film industry before changing careers.
