Well,... What to tell?
I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. That's also where I studied electrical engineering. I finished that in 2011 and in October 2011 I moved to Graz, Austria, where I found a job as an embedded system engineer. I work on the development of different sensors for a rebreather and the development of devices that allow physiological measurements on scuba divers under water. Besides that I'm trying to get a doctoral degree in medical science.
In my free time I love playing all kinds of sports and spend a lot of time outdoors. My "main" hobby is underwater rugby. Other than that I really enjoy riding my bikes (street bike and mountain bike). The region around Graz is great for that. I'm also a scuba diving instructor. At the moment I don't really teach diving, but I go diving a lot on my vacations.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love travelling. Besides seeing new places, I like getting to know new people and cultures. I feel like couchsurfing is a great way to really get in touch with locals. Unfortunately I haven't used it a lot since I joined, but I want to change that.

兴趣

I'm very interested in sports, especially water sports. I am a scuba diving instructor and I play unterwater rugby (a really fun sport not a lot of people know). One of my next missions is to learn how to sail and surf. Biking, skiing, and just being outdoors are also great.

Movies: Well, I like watching movies, but I don't do it a lot. Favorite movie is I guess "Home alone", oh and "Gran Torion" was also really good.
Music: I love listening to all kinds of music, but rock is my favorite genre.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spend two extended periods of time in the USA. I went to high school in Kanses for a school year and I studied in Arizona for two semesters. Both times were really great experiences.
During my studies I used a lot of my vacations to work as a scuba diving instructor on different Spanish islands. Unfortunately that didn't improve my Spanish, but those times were real fun. Sometimes I feel like I should quit my regular job for a while I spend some more time teaching scuba diving in some awesome location. And there are a lot of places around the world that would probably be really cool to live at for a while and go diving every day.
