CURRENT MISSION

My life has always had a lack of traveling and interesting experiences, and I'd like to change that

ABOUT ME

I am a 22-year-old living in Redford, MI, just outside of Detroit. I've lived here for all of my life except for the 4 years I spent away at college (Oakland University in Rochester, MI, about 45 minutes from my house). I work full-time as a software developer at a company a few miles from my house, and am interested in traveling now that I finally have the means to do so.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone should treat others with compassion and respect. People disagree on issues from time to time; that's natural. But there is far too much greed, injustice, and general unpleasantness in the world today, and people should strive to be kind and accepting of their fellow humans. Doing good unto others whenever possible is the way to accomplish that.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is very little I don't like, or at least won't give a chance. My favorite types of movies are comedies, I am admittedly not much of a reader, and I listen to a wide array of music. My favorite genre is metal, but I am just as likely to listen to classical, alternative, techno, rap, or pop. I am also a drummer, and have my own set in my basement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on walks through my college's campus at night. Especially in the more woodsy areas, I was amazed at how beautiful both nature and civilization can be under the right circumstances, especially in concert with each other.
