Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To sail around the world just coz is fucking round, you know?
ABOUT ME
I am a 29-year-old Italian journalist who wants to see every country on this world, almost like Marco Polo! People say that I am good laugh, somehow crazy but not in a negative nor criminal way! I am just a respectful and cheerful guy.
PHILOSOPHY
"Start straight out from your heart and go outward from there. It's a pretty simple formula, really. Nothing too fucking philosophical at all".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel quite often and I love to meet couchsurfers of every race, culture, gender and religion. I could host you in Rome when I am not abroad, but since I work full time 9 to 7 I might be too busy!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosting and I was hosted too: so far all positive experience and really amazing people.
Interests
Journalism of course, but also photography, politics, music. I actually play the bass and I sing (under the shower, lol). I am very interested in visiting the Balkans and North Africa because I want to see with my eyes what I am writing about.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
I grew up listening to punk rock (Nofx, Lagwagon, Rancid, Sublime) but I also love classic rock (Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Jerry Lewis, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Stevie Wolder, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd), I do enjoy some electronic music too (Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Lali Puna) and contemporary rock (Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wilco).
I like journalism books (La Casta, Gomorra, Robert Fisk's reportages), fantasy (Tolkien, C.S. Lewis), science fiction (Bradbury, Asimov), Italian novelists (Pirandello, Svevo, Salgari) but also contemporary authors such as Niccolo Ammaniti, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Dan Brown.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote a news-story for my agency about some people I met in Belgrade through Couchsurfing. I suppose that the moral sounds pretty much like "no matter how different we are as long as there is something to drink".
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Italian and Spanish bad words, some news-writings tricks (but not all of them, or you will steal my job!) and I can share my knowledge about social, political and economical issues. I would love to learn other languages (actually learning Portuguese).
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey
Countries I’ve Lived In
Italy, Serbia, United Kingdom
