关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Oh man! I hate questions like this! No wonder I never ran for Miss America.
ABOUT ME
For the first time in my life (well, in many years) I have plenty of time of my hands. I work MWF and can take days or weeks off when I want. My partner and I have done quite a bit of traveling since we met 6 years ago - Australia, China, Galapagos, Costa Rica, Rome, Hackensack, NJ.
This spring we'll spend an entire week in Prague, one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. We're swapping apartments with a couple who will be staying at our place in New York.
On paper:
- Retired from headhunting and now working part-time
- Invested in risky stocks big-time and did well.
- I'm happily coupled, much to my surprise.
In person:
- I look younger than I am
- I think older than I look
- I used to be driven - that was easy.
I like:
- discovering new places, things and activities
- doing favors for friends
- people who are passionate about something
I wish:
- I could play the piano
- I had more passions
- I could relax and enjoy myself.
兴趣
- Learning to cook without meat or chicken (their carbon costs are unconscionable)
- Biking/Cycling. Did a 12-day bike tour of Queensland, Australia in 2007.
- Geeky, techy stuff. Computer support to all my friends.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Americans, New Yorkers in particular, think we live in the greatest place on Earth. I used to think New York was the greatest city on the planet. But, visiting China last year and witnessing its vastness, multitudes and gy-normous cities convinces me that both New York and the US have peaked.
