i'll go for what i've done lately.
movies: like cult and foreign films. i can really get into catherine breillat. i don't know why i just love this bitch. werner herzog! russian films are great but they aren't always translated. i like rowdy independent films.
music: lately portishead & pj harvey. like a lot doom and drone music. pelican. krautrock. <--is this shit still out there? i don't know. everything good.
books: a lot of books are really too didactic for me. if you've heard of these people: lydia millet, james kelman, mary robison, will self. oh i don't know like adam parfrey.
