I‘m a Kiwi (New Zealander) who just graduated from a US university (Colgate University, New York) and is solo traveling through Europe before beginning a fellowship in Norway. I was awarded a Fulbright grant to research solar energy in Oslo (September 2019 - June 2020). As an international student at the University of Oslo, I will be working with a research team for the Institute for Energy Technology just outside Oslo, Norway.

I love the outdoors and exploring new places. I am interested in philosophy and having my beliefs challenged. I like meeting new people and love to learn new things.

I am on Couchsurfing because I am traveling through Eastern Europe before my fellowship begins at the beginning of September. I am hoping to meet interesting people and find accommodation.

I am very excited to meet Couchsurfing hosts. Since, I am traveling alone I look forward to socializing with my hosts. I am a traveller with a unique background and culture who is enthusiastic to share my stories and experiences with my hosts. I would be interested in doing outdoor activities with my hosts, such as hiking. Additionally, I like to cook and would be happy to make my hosts a meal or lend a hand where I can help out.
