Overview
About Me
Though originally from Colorado, I have been living the last few years in Seattle, WA studying English and Philosophy at Seattle University. As of January, though, I have relocated to Bristol, England, for a semester abroad. I am friendly, passionate, and interested in people and places. Looking forward to European adventures over the next several months!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is something that can come from sharing a space with someone that one doesn't get in a hotel or, for that matter, even a hostel: really, sharing space is an inevitable act of community and, in that, the potential for interesting conversation, laughs, and sharing of experience inevitably follows. Who doesn't want the chance to meet and connect along their way?
Interests
A few things I love: reading, playing music (guitar and piano), meeting new people, having intellectual stimulating conversations that are still able to lend into laughter, travel, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: the list is relentlessly long and, really, I'll likely be interested in whatever it is you have last read. A few authors I've been enjoying recently are Flannery O'Connor, David Foster Wallace, Don Delillo, and an endless stream of philosophers.
Music: call it folk and call it good.
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Thin Red Line, Beginners, No Country for Old Men.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
People like to hear that I have written a novel but let the warning be clearly stated now: should you ask me about it, I will try to be brief and inevitably go on for far too long, making you regret having asked about it at all. (This of course being a dramatization of events as I imagine them, which is likely not totally realistic, but the point stands.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Genuine conversation, good laughs, and a very respectful manner. I've also got endless trivia on niche fields like the music scene in Omaha, Nebraska (it exists, I swear), among other things, all of which I'm sure the rest of the world is eager to hear about.
