Overview
About Me
I grew up in the sunbelt area of Phoenix, Arizona, which typically has summers of 110 degrees. Because of the heat, I always wanted to escape to places with bodies of water. As I began visiting California I realized that I enjoyed not only the climate but the culture, food, and people. After graduating college and interning in LA and NYC, I settled down in SF, which is a melting pot of cultures. I am interested in technology and work for Intel. I have lived in Ecuador for a couple years previously doing humanitarian work. People are amazing and traveling helps us connect us :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been using airbnb and hostelworld and these are great services from wonderful companies. One friend from a hostel in Madrid mentioned the application Couchsurfing and I became interested because it seems like a great way to become part of the communities that I visit. While I could easily go to a hostel, I believe that couchsurfing will allow me to become more immersed in the culture and meet great people.
