ABOUT ME

I love life and for me, life is about experiencing new things, meeting interesting people, and maximizing the amount of time that you spend doing what you love to do. I'm an open-minded person and I like understanding new points of view. I can't stand it when people are closed off to new ideas just because...

I'm kind of a risk taker because with risk and potential failure comes excitement. You can't really feel alive unless there is some amount of uncertainty.

I'm a very independent person which is why I aspire to have freedom and possibly my own business. All so I can spend my time with the people I care about, doing the things I love to do, and hopefully improving the world in some way.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about knowing what you want and going for it. It's about waking up everyday and being excited about what you are going to do that day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a LOT of hosting over the past 4 years in Washington DC and Wilmington NC. Surfed once or twice, but now that I'm on the road, I hope to surf even more :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, hosted several people, made friends, and had a good time.

Never met a couchsurfer I didn't like, sort of a self-selecting community :)

Watching baby sea turtles hatch and go into the ocean

Swimming with sea lions, turtles, and penguins on the galapagos

The salar de uyuni and surrounding volcanoes/geysers that made me feel like I was on a different planet
