I've always enjoyed the new people I meet while traveling, so I was drawn towards couchsurfing to both host out-of-town visitors and show them a great time in my stomping grounds (living situation permitting), but also benefit from the kind folks around the country/world that also share that same desire to connect with new people from various walks of life.

11 mile backpacking trip on the Kalalau Trail along the Napali Coast of Kauai, HI.

Planned on spending 2 nights out there, ended up being 5. Truly breathtaking scenery and the warmest people.
