About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am looking to travel around spain in March using couchsurfing and carpooling. My mission is to see as much of spain as I can with my trusty companion Pierre de bol (he's a bowl that looks like a dog)

ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old male from the southwest of England, I'm a little bit shy but once I am comfortable with my surroundings I tend to express myself a little more, whether that is dancing or speaking is up to the environment I am in.

I'm a very laid back character and I'm not difficult to get along with I like to listen to other peoples opinions on anything, if I don't have an opinion on the matter at hand I wont say anything and take it all in, if I do you will know what I think pretty quickly.

My bad side is I don't always talk a lot. This isn't meant to look rude but I know how it can come across that way. The fact is I am very lazy and if I don't have anything worth saying I tend not to say anything at all. I tend to talk more when I am doing an activity or there is a thought provoking conversation. Simply put, I find small talk very difficult.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy eh? What can I say?

My personal view on life isn't about what you have, it is what you have done. Once I'm old and frail I want to look back on my life and remember the great experiences I had, these happy memories will be far more important to me than memories of sitting in an office working 9-5 just to pay the bills and buy a fancy car.

My question is when you're dying what will be a nicer memory? owning a BMW or that you have experienced many different cultures and made fantastic life long friends along the way?

Life is short and wealth is unnecessary, just make sure you're doing something you enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am a traveler, once I have a home and I am settled I'll be more than happy to welcome traveling folk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a N00B

Interests

I am interested in football, music (My favourite genres are: Punk, Reggea, Ska and after that anything that takes my fancy... the lyrics usually need to be mind opening if that makes sense)
I like to travel and have been all over the world, I plan to keep up these experiences and think that couch surfing is a good way to meet like minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies
Fight Club - Not because it has people fighting, not because of the canny twist, but because it says a lot about today's society and how to withdraw yourself from the same old rap.
In to the Wild - Just brilliant, both the book and film

Books:
Zombie Survival Guide - A must have for everyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out a plane at mission beach in Australia with views of tropical jungle in one direction, a strip of golden sand the the great barrier reef on the other side... a spectacular view.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be hoping for a bit of language exchange, I'll practice Spanish with you, and you can practice English with me.

I'm also pretty decent in the kitchen and would be happy to teach my ways.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Spain
