ABOUT ME

I grew up in San Diego surfing up and down the Pacific Coast. I'm one of those "extra credit nerds" (with glasses and all). So if you got beef with nerds, I'll challenge you to an algebra competition or something...that's about as tough and mean as I get...

I studied Spanish/Spanish culture in Spain for 6 months, and then traveled through about 20 countries in Europe for another 8 months. I spent my life savings, but it was definitely worth it :)

I just obtained at BA in Spanish and am going to teach EFL/ESL in Spain. It's what I've always wanted to do with my life. I'm going to live to work and not work to live which, in my opinion, is absolutely a necessary aspect of living.

PHILOSOPHY

When life gives you lemons, tell life that he sucks and demand apples.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do carpentry work, so if you're hosting me, I can fix whatever you need fixed around the house/flat (I'll try my best at least. Or I'll build you something neat). Umm...I will respect and abide by the rules of the couch. I will not jump up and down on the couch, but I might stand up and try to surf on it. So, this is how I can participate.

I teach and always want to learn new languages, as well as experience other cultures. I also try to be as open-minded as possible when it comes to someone's personal beliefs, whatever that may be... basically I try my best to be as open-minded as possible to anything that is new to me...
