ABOUT ME

Howdy,

My name is Scott, and I hail from smack dab in the middle of the United States - Nebraska - home of corn and cows. I have 2 major passions: astronautics and traveling. For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of traveling the world (my parents blamed their National Geographic Magazine subscription). Finally, as a Junior at the University of Southern California, I got my chance when I was accepted into a study abroad program in Madrid, Spain. It was my first time outside of the US, and I had an incredible time beyond description. I was bit by the travel bug, and became resolute to travel to every continent. In school, I am majoring in Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis in Astronautics, and I want to devote my career to the further development of manned spaceflight. Whether on or off this planet, I just want to explore!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just learned of CS this summer, and I was instantly a fan. What a tremendous idea! For now, as I am traveling for 6 months in Asia, I want give couch surfing a try for the first time. I hope to stay on some couches in Cambodia and Thailand, and I look forward to being able to repay the favor when I go back to the US and graduate from college.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have graduated from skydiving school, and I have helped build a 200 pound rocket motor for a class project.

The most amazing thing I have seen is Prague at sunset.
