About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a Nomad, a Wanderer (for a time) Starting in Ireland and working east, film documenting our experiences. Explore, learn, see the WORLD and not just our corner, meet new people, learn new things, and have a lot of fun along the way.
ABOUT ME
I am a 23 year old guy. Not so different than any other I suppose. I grew up in Oregon, moved away for stints here and there. Once in Boise Idaho and once in Chicago Illinois/Mayport Florida where I did my time in the Navy. A year ago September I was injured and received a medical discharge. I play drums and love essentially all music, even made a simple living in a band in Bend for 3 years out of high school. It is still one of the biggest parts of my life. Just up from that would be film. I write a lot, though I am wouldn't consider myself a writer. After my travels I hope to get into film as a carrier, either through school or by another road.
I am a very laid back individual, and get along with just about everyone i meet. I enjoy all humor, though I would say my humor tends to be on the dryer side. Anyone i can exchange witty banter with is an instant win. I love getting out and doing almost anything: From outdoor stuff such as hiking, camping, fishing, disc golf, climbing, rugby/football, etc. As much as I like going out on the town.
I have wanted to travel europe since I was a kid, and recently one of my best friends approached me regarding this and we've decided, "Let's f*ing do it."
PHILOSOPHY
Huge question. I guess at the base of everything there is a simple, but not all encompassing answer: I live my life, to simply live life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was told about this site by a friend when I mentioned to him that Our mutual friend and I would be going to Europe for a while. This far i haven't done much, as I just joined. After my travels I look forward to hosting as many people as possible, probably here in the States. I am not sure how else I can contribute, I am not yet certain. But look forward to doing what I can as I learn more about this site. So far it's a wonderful community, with a purpose I can get behind.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't done a whole lot of couch surfing. Definitely had to bounce from friends house to friends house times in the past. And as of late as well, as we prepare to leave. Every experience I have had has been great. In general, I simply enjoying meeting, conversing, and spending time with people. Be they old friends, or new ones.

Already covered many of them. There are many more. The rest, I'll leave for a possible conversation in the future.
