We lived most of our lives in Sydney city and finally wanted to escape to the peace and quiet of the Blue Mountains.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been hosts and we have also stayed with other couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted couchsurfers from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Scotland and the USA and have enjoyed being couchsurf hosts for so many good people. We travelled through Germany, France and Italy and then on to London in 2011 and found our couch surfing experience to be a great way to meet people and stay with them. We are looking to travel again this year, 2019, to Canada and Italy. We have not been to Canada before and are looking forward to the trip.

Intereses

Italian French and Korean food, motorbikes, quilting, walking, meditation. We have two dachshunds who we love dearly even though they rule our lives (as any dachshund owners will know). Fiona's work as a midwife is also her passion.

Scotty lived six months in a Buddhist temple. Fiona being present at a birth, not only of the baby but the woman becoming a mother.
