Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world and meet new and exciting people on that journey. I can't think of a better way to do this than CS.
ABOUT ME
I think I would be described as a friendly, outgoing person that appreciates the things that life has to offer, especially the little things.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, love, and laugh because it would be silly not to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have yet to host anyone or be hosted by anyone, but look forward to doing so.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been to a number of meetups and potlucks in Asheville.
Interests
Meeting new people and being introduced to new ideas and experiences are things that make everyday worth living and this is why I joined CS. With that being said, food and music are two things that make me extremely happy. I always look forward to seeing a new band or trying a new type of cuisine. I am not much of a musician, but I do enjoy cooking/grilling and sharing with others. I am also an avid sports fan. The only sport that I play regularly is tennis and I am involved in some local USTA leagues, but I do like to keep up with other sports and attend sporting events when possible (baseball, basketball, soccer).

Music, Movies, and Books
I am an avid fan of live music. I happen to live in a town that offers a great deal of local/live music and I try to support it as often as possible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I studied abroad in Italy in the spring of 2005, I took part in a program in which we got to eat dinner at a local host family's home. We did this individually and my family had a mother that spoke German, Italin and English, a father that spoke mainly Italian and a son that spoke German, Italian and English as well. I realize that there are many bilingual families, but to witness this firsthand as a guest in their home really made me appreciate the ability to break the bilingual barrier.
I took a cross-country trip the summer after I graduated college in 2006 and it was the first time I had been west of Tennessee. Finding and exploring the many different cities and wonderful sights this country has to offer was an incredible experience.
