ABOUT ME

Free spirited, open minded, adventurous + optimistic are all ways I'd describe myself. Life is good. Each year I head off overseas to discover new places and learn about different cultures. 2009 was Cent America and Sth East Asia. 2010 was the Middle East, 2011 was be Central Asia, last year South America. This year it will be North Asia. Can't wait :)

Recently I've been working on a fly in / fly out basis to remote Western Australia on a 4 week on / 1 week off roster so I am rarely in my hometown of Melbourne.

When I am in Melbourne I have a fun group of friends and have an active social life.

Loves : meeting people, keeping fit, the occasional disco, catching up with friends, riding my bike, coffee, wine, eating out, sailing.

Hates : intolerant people, bananas (or even the smell of em ),

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading 100 Years of Solitude and finding it boring. Musical tastes vary from Electronica ( house, hard house, MOS etc ) to African artistists Angelique Kidjo, Ladysmith Black Mambasa to Bjork or Eminem and just about anything else except R&B or thrash metal.

Iranians get a bad wrap. The impression you can get back home from the TV news is not very positive. Reality it quite different. Take a chance. Go see Iran and it's wonderfull, warm, friendly people. There has been so much goodwill shown to us by the Iranian people, particualrly around Shiraz. It's safe, has great sights, and the friendliest people in the world. Don't think about it, see for yourself
