ABOUT ME

I grew up in the south in a small college town in Alabama and now work as a traveling medical scientist for the US hospital system. I love travelling, reading, biking, hiking, SCUBA diving, eclectic music, interesting hole-in-the-wall restaurants, dive bars, zoos, carnivals, parades, etc. Really, I'm up for anything fun. I love live music and really like exploring new sounds/bands that I've never seen before. I would like to think that i'm laid back, interesting, cool and cultured. These are, at the very least, the things I strive to be. I have a bachelor's in Microbiology and a master's in Clinical Laboratory Science but I used to own a tattoo shop. I like to see life as an adventure. I am constantly reminding myself that fear is weakness and love is strength. I try and walk the world with an open mind and a generous heart.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I read all the time. I really like scifi and classic literature but I read pretty much anything. Right now I'm really into the Song of Ice and Fire series. I tend towards punk/metal/rockabilly for live music, but I listen to everything. Some of my favorite artists are Flogging Molly, Tool, Tom waits, Johnny Cash, The Misfits, Dropkick Murphys, Bob Dylan, etc... I love movies, I enjoy anything that is well written. Genre is not that important though I do love a good zombie chainsaw fight or space battle.

Watching the sillouhette of a 35 foot whale shark swim over my head. I'll never forget that!
