Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to feel the place, people and culture is to look through eyes of a local. I am not into tourist tours because they lead you to places where all the tourist go, and sometimes can also sell artificial stories. I want to learn about that small taverna or local market, that small ritual that people do in the morning or before sleeping, the way people have fun and how they live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Can offer my time, maybe even place, hosting people in my city. Also, can organize mini tours, like I did for participants of the events I organized. Fun fact: the biggest one took over 2000 kilometers by car in 7 days, through 8 cities in 4 countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not really couchsurfed, but have wonderful experiences hosting people, organizing and also participating in different events (e.g. seminars, conferences).

Interests

Questioning the status quo of everyday life. Enjoying the world around us, which could be everything from nature, good food, cultures to someones skills and knowledge.
