Hi, I was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Perth Australia. I am moving to Helsinki to commence my Masters in Sustainable Energy Engineering at Aalto this September. I was working as a Civil Engineer in Perth up until a month ago. I decided to further my studies and shift into the sustainable energy industry because I am have a strong desire to contribute positively to the world around me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am moving to Helsinki a few weeks before my studies commence to search for an apartment and to get to know the city and the people. A number of my friends in Perth Australia are regular hosts to couch surfers and I understand it is a good way to first move to a new city that you have never been to before.

Intereses

Having grown up in Perth I enjoy many activities surrounding the beach culture including kitesurfing and sailing. I also enjoy dancing lindy hop. I have started learning Swedish over the last few months and have spent much of July in Sweden staying with friends.
