One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I leapt of the ledge, plunged 60 feet down, and landed into a falling waterfall.

When my host, Stephen, said that the jump was incredible and that he's done it before, I had to go. After practicing on the 20 and the 30, I decided I was ready. So, Stephen lead the way. We swam across the large pool created by the waterfall and over to the other side. Then, we began scaling. The mixture of mud and rock we climbed left me a little concerned, but Stephen didn't waver and neither did I. As we climbed higher, the rocks became more sure until we reached the ledge. 60 feet up, this ledge bore a patch of grass and a full sized tree which I had to crawl about to access the jump. I looked down. My ledge was slippery from the wet grass, my motion limited by the tree, and my target was exactly where the waterfall carved out a deep enough place to drop. I hesitated, then I lept.
