About Me
My name is Sean Rainbow, that is really my last name. I recently completed a summer working in a Pennsylvania family camp as a kids counsellor, while prior to that I was the spreadsheet staring guy for a few big companies, and the complaints guy for others. By far the best job was the camp. Right now you'll find me teaching English in Bilbao, always on the hunt for cool new people to meet. I operate under a pseudonym on Facebook, but find me as Isaiah Rainbow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Following the awful experience of having real jobs after university I applied for Camp America allowing me to spend a summer working at a family camp in Pennsylvania. Upon returning from the States I find myself teaching English in Bilbao. But as the newby in a new city Id love to meet some more people and try out some new things. Im particularly interested in idiomas intercambio (please correct me if thats wrong) i.e. Ill swap English lessons for Spanish ;)
Interests
I love music and sports. I helped set up and worked in a recording studio while I learned to play the drums, I've been playing for about 8 years. I've played in a few bands everything from pop/rock to thrash metal and progressive jazz. Sports wise I've spent the last few years playing ice hockey, which I started at university. I'm a fan of the Buffalo Sabres and Whitley Warriors. Otherwise like most Geordie lads I'm a huge fan of Newcastle United Football Club. I also used to be very interested in history, but university beat that out of me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now my favourite bands are Led Zepplin and the White Stripes, but this will change in a week or so. My favourite movie is at a tie between Almost Famous and American Beauty. I will have to hold my hands up and admit I am a philistine when it comes to literature, but I guess Terry Pratchett is my favourite author right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Instead of enjoying the Grand Canyon I was sick in the back of the car, I rule!
Teach, Learn, Share
Tortilla chips are cheap, edible and effective fire starters.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can clean and cook, or otherwise lend my hand to any tasks I can help out with. But I can also teach the drums or jam out playing them. I'd love to meet you all and share in the wonderful places you live.
