About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find cool people to hang out with in Paris!
ABOUT ME
Irish guy living in Toulouse, enjoying the culture, wine and sunshine of the South of France. I'm doing an Masters in Economics in The Toulouse School of Economics (M2). I'm hoping to do a Stage in Paris when I finish my studies, so I want to get to know the city a little better.
I live here in Toulouse in a colocation with French people. So don't worry if your English is not perfect, my French is good enough for us to get by!
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
Bad decisions make good stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been saved way too many times by the kindness and shocking friendliness of strangers all over Europe! But it's been a few years since I've couch surfed and I'm excited to get going again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I shared a sticky fake leather fold out couch with an almost complete stranger. It was Morocco, it was hot and there were way too many mosquitos buzzing around my ear to sleep properly.
That was the worst CS experince I've had, and I look back on it with a smile on my face. My Couchsurfing experience? It's ranged from 'character building' to (alcohol) 'tolerance building' and everything between.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have never found an adequate answer to any of these questions. Trying to combine sufficient coolness and originality, with popularity while balancing modern greats with classics is something I've never achieved.
So instead I'll just write I like listening to music, but generally takes me a while to get into new stuff.
Books: I heard this once.
'Don't fuck people who don't read!'
In fairness it's a great rule of thumb!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent 5 days sailing around the filipino archipelago of Palawan with my Brother. No phones, no internet, no Facebook. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have improved my cooking skills enormously since I started surfing. If you can cook and if you can teach me you will definitely be more welcome!
I can teach you how to cook a Beef and Guinness stew (which has become the stuff of legend amongst the Madrid CS community!)
I'll also be happy to share with you my Toulousian accent!
