We've had a deluge of surfers come through our house the past couple of years and I'm looking forward to testing out the other side of the arrangement soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend (and fellow Couchsurfer) Brian and I were hitchhiking to the entrance of Glacier National Park in Montana and one of the rides we got during our stay was with a man who has a piano installed in the back of his pick-up. He let us ride in the back and play the piano as we made the trip. I'm not sure if I've ever smiled as much as when I was pounding those keys as we were barreling down Montana highway en route to what would be one of my favorite hikes I've ever been on. I don't play the piano, but in that context everything sounds great.
