About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To hear the music of life

ABOUT ME

Honest, responsible, friendly, cheerful, calm, geeky

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Christian - I believe in God but I accept that other people don't and that's ok. I think it's important to learn from one another and enjoy life together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am a surfer - I live in University accommodation and don't have place to host someone unless they are happy with an inflatable mattress on the floor of my room... unlikely... One day when I have my own place, I'll be happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never had a Couchsurfing experience, sadly. But friends of mine have told me good things! Whenever I've stayed with my friends, they've told me that I'm the easiest guest to host - hopefully that will be the same with CS!

Interests

I'm a graduate chemistry student so I'm interested in science but I'm also a musician in my spare time. I play a couple of instruments including the piano and flute. I love reading fantasy novels such as The Lord of the Rings and The Wheel of Time - yeah, I'm a bit of a nerd!

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to pretty much any music. I love classical, baroque, pop, rock, jazz, electronica, dance, house, etc. I love Sci-Fi movies and I read a lot of fantasy novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Bengaluru, India and saw their beautiful culture and palatial architecture, and was humbled by their friendship.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to speak a small amount of isiXhosa, an African language which has clicks as some of the consonants. Listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mwh9z58iAU

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, France, India, Italy, Norway, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
