ABOUT ME

I've been living in New Orleans now since the autumn of 2011. I'm more of a Yankee boy however, as I am a native of Chicago. I currently ride a pedicab to make my income, and spend those dollars on film, fancy cheeses and coffee.

I love talking to people on the street, taking photographs, playing guitar, attempting to cook good food, and probably a lot of other things that I can't think of right now.

In recent times I've come to fancy myself a bit of a foodie. Love me a good bowl of Ramen.

I'm quite into film, so there are too many movies to name. I especially enjoy studying a culture through its film history.

Like all sorts of music.

Have been reading more non fiction in recent years. Really enjoy travel writing, ethnographic tales. Also dig a good cookbook.

Was nearly attacked by some hostile ravens in Hokkaido, Japan. They sent me running down the mountain. T'was a humbling experience.
