I am currently travelling through Latin America

ABOUT ME

I decided to embark on this current trip after a while saving. I finished University in 2004 and worked for a while. I spent five weeks in Guatemala learning Spanish and hope to use it for the duration of my trip.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to enjoy myself at this stage and believe that travel is a crucial component of life if you have the means to do it. I dont tend to see eye-to-eye with overly ambitious, superficial people and believe I can form bonds with people through humour and common interests.

I am very interested in Politics, Film, Reading. I also have a good interest in sport and music.

Woody Allen and Wes Anderson films are my favourite
I like politics books (most recently read Alison Ackers book Honduras - the making of a Banana Republic)
I like leftfield indie music particularly stuff from North America. My favourite bands are Sonic Youth, The Silver Jews, The New Pornographers, Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse and Wolf Parade.
