ABOUT ME

I'm Sean, I'm 23 years old and just moved to New York to start my career as a teacher. I just graduated as an international studies major from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. I love to travel and have lived in Brazil and Germany for extended periods of time. I am also a huge soccer player and fan. I enjoy learning new things, traveling, new cultural experiences, and creating great experiences with great people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I travel, Couchsurfing is the way to go. I've met the coolest people and seen the coolest things that have only been made possible through this website. After my amazing experiences Couchsurfing in Europe, I want to give others the experience and show them my home. Seeing a city as a tourist is a COMPLETELY different experience than seeing a city with a local. I want to be the local that shows the people what my city really is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best experience Couchsurfing was in the summer of 2011 when I did research in East Germany. Over a span of six weeks, I couchsurfed the entire time and met some amazing people. They showed me all around Leipzig, Berlin, and Dresden and I got a true feel for these cities and their incredibly rich history.
