About Me

I'm from upstate New York, but currently find myself living in Portland, Maine.

But most of all, I'm just trying to figure this shit out like everyone else.

Interests

I actually kind of do enjoy long walks on the beach! I mean, come on, it's the beach. Nothing wrong with that.

I like to cook, speak Spanish, read, hike, swim, go to the gym, and listen to music at pretty much any time. I also am a big fan of delicious and new food, bars that only you and your friends know about, hot and sweaty clubs and discos, or a fire on the beach under the stars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several years ago when the Icelandic volcano erupted (remember that?! god it was so long ago!) some friends and I were stranded in Amsterdam.

I have to admit, if you're ever stranded in a place by an unusual natural occurrence, Amsterdam is a pretty decent place to get stranded.

Anyways, after a couple of days bumming around the city we decided we had to get back to Barcelona, where we were studying at the time. So, we rented cars and roadtripped back through Benelux and France.

If you are Dutch, and happen to have been stuck in one of the many traffic jams I caused while trying to reacquaint myself to driving stick shift (and there were many), I really do apologize.
