Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I look forward to meeting and talking with people, in different places all round the world, as well as at home.

Interests

At home I've been known to hike and swim as prefered forms of exercise, but really enjoy surfing when I get the chance. I'm going to be taking history at university, so anything to do with how people live or about cultures interests me. I'm a bit of a foodie. I enjoy having an open mind, trying new flavours, smells, places etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't really pin any of these down to a few. I think a book, or a film is better depending on your situation at that time. I usually come back from travels craving the movie about that place (Kenya=the lion king). I like novels but also a good polemic. As for music, I'm usually up for anything, except some of more hardcore rap, but even this is fun live. To name a few bands The Maccabees, We Are Scientists, Jurrassic 5.
