ABOUT ME

I am an 18 year old who is taking a gap year trip before heading back home to attend university the following year. My love of travel was sparked by my parents who backpacked for a year through multiple countries. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled with my family when I was younger, and now I am continuing my passion by traveling solo.

Interests

- Travelling, meeting new people who have different perspectives and interesting experiences to share
-Learning about and immersing myself in cultures from all around the world
- Anything to do with sports and adventure, including hockey, soccer, football, running, mountain biking etc
-One of my main hobbies is fishing, including fly fishing. I tie my own flies and bring a rod almost anywhere I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have snorkelled the Blue Hole in Belize

I walked the Great Wall in China and have seen the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian,

I have climbed to the top of Mt. Doom from Lord of the Rings (Mt. Ngaruhoe)

Teach, Learn, Share

A major part of my desire to travel is to learn anything and everything I can from others. This includes different languages, dealing with people, different skills.. hopefully so that I can pass them on to others in the future.

One particular goal I do have is to learn to surf.
