ABOUT ME
hmmm...i suppose i'm very similar to the 'people i enjoy' section i just filled in. i am enjoying being alive, being a part of this world, and try to experience it as fully as possible, but with out trying too hard (if that makes any sense). I have certainly seen and done a lot in my 31 years, and I feel as though if it all ended tomorrow, I would have no complaints. ok, FEW complaints, but for the most part, I think my life is pretty rad.
PHILOSOPHY
That's a tough thing to write in a little box -- we can discuss it over Heinekens

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
I think the Big Lebowski is the greatest movie of all time. But I also really loved Amelie, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Paul Thomas Anderson movies, Woody Allen makes me laugh, and Audrey Hepburn (paticularly in Roman Holiday) makes my heart swell.
Music: I have this embarrassing obsession with a now defunct American rock band called The Black Crowes, and if you haven't heard of them, may god have mercy on your soul. But my music taste is vast and ecclectic. My ipod has lots of Bjork, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, old retro 80's stuff, Bowie, Jane's Addiction, and even some Prince.
Books:
I love John Steinbeck's books. I feel like a reincarnation of him sometimes, when I read his words. I also would say the same about Douglas Coupland and Dave Eggers, but seeing as they are both very much alive today, I'll call them kindred sprits instead. Milan Kundera, Huxley, and I just finished and loved "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Minstry.
