I love to travel and I also love being home. I am passionate about my family and my work.

I have recently returned from two months in France with ever more appreciation of the kindness of French people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I practiced my intermediate French two summers ago while staying with a lovely family at Beaugency on the Loire River. I intended to see them again this year, but I broke my arm in Paris. I told them I was hurt, and they said, "You can stay in our apartment in Boulogne-Billancourt while you recover. Then you will be close to medical services."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove from Calais, France to Bucharest, Romania in an English Ford -- right hand drive, left hand stick-shift four years ago. It was truly an adventure.
