ABOUT ME

Me huh? Well in simple words I am a simple man at the moment. Seeking to enlighten myself through meeting nice people and learning from different cultures all through the lens of a biking viking. I really enjoy making people laugh and listening to their stories. I have enjoyed my life in the states and have had many adventures! The most important things to me are staying active and laughing at myself. Lately I have been loving the simple challenges of standing outside the comfort zone by pushing myself both physically (on my cycle) and mentally by contemplation and embracing the new and unknown. I have worked hard my whole life. I have laughed hard my whole life. My moto is work hard play hard! I have great patience and I think I am pretty intelligent too!

PHILOSOPHY

Small footprint big smiles. Do or do not there is no try! Golden Rule. Life is what we make it. Never surrender never lie. Remembering always some day we all eventually die so live with no regrets and be kind to your neighbor. And put your tray table in its upright and locked position....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by trying to be the most respectful and pleasent surfer I can be. When my station in life is stationary I would love to resiprocate!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed officially only once on CS for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Though through chance and luck I have surfed with many so far on this journey all pleasent!

Interests

Obviously biking but more so skiing and volley ball. I also like to travel and hike/camp. I love meeting new people and sharing a laugh. I like to cook and embibe with a good beer or bottle of wine. I like to read and play cards or board games. I like to be outside as much as possible. I like adventure and a little risk taking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any book that makes me think, loads of music to much to mention but my favorite band is Cake at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the sun rise over Machu Pichu. I spent 3 weeks hiking around it with my brother and cousin! It was an enlightening trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a great listener and have a lot of patience. I could teach skiing or Golf. I have excellent camping skills and a few cooking skills. I can make you laugh... I can learn fast as well.
