ABOUT ME

Not much to say ; I work as en engineer, and try to travel during my holidays. I'm fond of northern countries since I went to Canada (BC and Québec) and to Norway and Sweden.

I'd like to go to any place where you can see great landscapes. Should I mention that no trip is worth it without good friends to travel with, and people you meet there and become friends with.

I hate to give up a trip because of financial issues ; so I try to help people travel where they want, by letting them stay at my place, pay the minimum and enjoy even more their trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have the worst modern musical culture of the world, because I don't like many modern musical styles. I listen to classical music (Beethoven, Vivaldi, Chopin, Tschaikovski, Debussy, Prokofiev, Stravinski...), good old-school hard-rock (LedZep, Deep Purple, ACDC...), jazz (Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Django Reinhardt, Michel Petrucciani...), a few movie music composers (John Williams, Danny Elfman, Howard Shore...), and that's it.

I love reading, but what I like the most is the power of imagination. This is why I mostly enjoy science-fiction stories (Lovecraft, Dan Simmons, Peter F Hamilton, Franck Herbert, Azimov, Bordage...).
