ABOUT ME

We are a Russian-French couple and we both love travelling. The prove? We met in a plane! :)

Him:
Travelling half time because of work, mostly to South-East Asia. I love being abroad even though I do not have that much of time to really Travel, I mean with a big "T".

But, holidays are the best time for me to Travel and take time. :)

Her:
Travelled a lot because of my last job: representative of an airline company. The favourite hobby was to take a plane ticket Friday evening and a back one Sunday night for coming back Monday morning exhausted but happy.

Last time I changed short-term trips for long stays in other countries - 1 year in France, then 6 months in Brazil, another year in France and since Jan 2013 I am in Brazil...and it is not yet the end!

We love countryside and wide-open spaces.
Hiking, horse-riding, canoeing, sailing are fantastic to appreciate a nice landscape, mountains, sea-sides.
We also appreciate crazy cities and urban environment that's whay we came to Hong Kong, to enjoy everything!

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing makes feel better than being offered a smile.
In return, I offer a smile back. Very simple! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quite a lots of experiences as host and guest with Hospitality Club.
Much fewer with Couch Surfing.
Bigger number of guests on the same time : 12!
and it was not at my place, it was at my grandma's place!! :D
She's fantastic!

Photography, running (starting with forefoot technic), hiking, movies, watching stars, feeling the cold wind on the chicks, expresso (with no sugar please!), drinking Sarajevo's tap water, reading future in a bosnian coffe, eating snow, riding a motocycle in the countryside, hitcchiking, good food, drinking good beers with friends, cooking our own special recipes and testing on friends (hehe!), swimming naked, sleeping on grass, in the forest or on a beach, sailing an old shooner such as Raja Laut (rajalaut.com), eating cevapi and suho meso (Bosnian dishes), hiking mountains, walking on the beach with a surfboard and sunglasses, pastis, barbecue and petanque, organising parties, going out with friends and making new friends, real italian pizzas, Bali and Sarajevo: 2 big loves, singing stupid songs in karaoke, having fun from anything, laughing, being offered a smile, sharing passions and living passionately.

There are many famous movies we haven't watched yet but enjoy discovering not famous movies which got prizes in film festivals.
Bosnian movies such as Red coloured grey truck, Fuse, The Perfect Circle, etc... are fabulous.
The mix between humor and tragedy is fantastic.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Him:
I used to study different topics at university. As various as electronics engineering, aeronautics, trade with Asia, Indonesian corruption and sustainable development, wood furniture, humanitarian issues in Indonesia, photography...
Plus other topics I tried to learn out of school.
But don't think I'm good in each!
I'm just a bit curious. I guess I can share a little bit about Bosnia and Indonesia.

Her:
In Russia I studies for 5 years international relations with North America, in France - the same but with South America. I guess I am already the "best" expert of the Western Hemisphere)
I also studied painting for a long, but now rather connoisseur and adviser than creator, economics, airline industry, tourism, interpreting and teaching languages.

Also, we enjoy a lot introducing our guests to the french and russian cultures and if we have time we will do the best to show you around our favourite places.
