I'm from Chile, I am a calm and quiet person, BUT I'm super crazy about traveling and sports, specially all activities involving nature like hiking and a little bit of trail running. I'm also really passionate about table tennis, and I like some other racket sports.

I'd like to meet new people everywhere and exchange life experiences, discuss the life philosofies and better if it is sharing a beer or a coffee.

After living in Prague for one year, I quit my job as bartender in a hotel and I backpacked to eastern Europe. Now I'm exploring Spain on my way back to Chile, this means I won't be able to host for now, but I'm always up to meet fellow travellers, and if you would host me I will be grateful for ever :D

I consider myself a very organized and respectful guest, but I'd really like to spend time with you and get to know you. Of course if you want to, I can tell you all about my country and my experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to believe in a world without borders, and I think couchsurfing helps to put down the cultural and economical barriers. I enjoy getting to know the local people instead of just passing by as one more tourist.

Interests

Mostly outdoor activities like camping and hiking. I also enjoy just having deep conversations about life :)

My favorite sport is table tennis and in Chile I trained at a club 3-5 times a week. I also played a regional league in Prague.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is rock (Yes, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, etc.) and other styles like punk rock, funk, EDM, indie, pagodeira, salsa and classic music.

My favorite movies are Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones, but I enjoy all sorts of movies.

I can't say I read too much, but I've read some classics like 1984 and Crime and Punishment and liked them a lot, and I've read every book from Dan Brown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) I once slept two nights inside a snow cave during a winter mountaineering course.
2) I crossed walking the border from Chile to Argentina in a really marvellous hike.
3) I travelled to Isla Navarino and did the most southern trekking circuit you can do in South America (sleeping on a tent this time).
4) I managed to work as a bartender in Czech Republic without knowing any czech or having previous experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you or help you practice Spanish.
I know basic photography things so I could teach you how to use Manual or "Pro" mode of your camera and also some basic editing skills.

I'm interested in learning about different cultures, languages, local food recipes or pretty much anything you have to offer because I love to learn about all sorts of new things and I'm really really open minded. And of course, I would love to receive tips about outdoor activities in Europe and places to visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides all the above, if you'd like to I'm also open to go for a drink or party or even better go on a hike or some cool activity. I'm willing to help you with whatever you need at home so I feel like I'm not abusing your good will :)
