Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Sebastian – 27 from a small town near Cologne, Germany.
After finishing my bachelor’s in business administration and working several years in a German bank, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone. That’s why I’m spending 5–6 months traveling through South & Central America – not to tick places off a list, but to connect with people, experience cultures, and share stories.
I’m happiest outdoors – I love the sun, the sea, and that feeling of discovering somewhere for the first time.
When I travel, I value being part of a community. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just a place to sleep – it’s a way to share life, culture, and good conversations.
Looking forward to meeting you somewhere along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is rock, but I also enjoy listening to many other genres. I don’t have one specific favorite book, but I like reading biographies. My favorite movie is Harry Potter, and my favorite series are House of Cards, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, and La Casa de Papel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic German, share tips about traveling in Europe, and give some beginner soccer coaching. I also know a thing or two about finance and banking.
I’d love to improve my Spanish and learn more about local cooking, traditions, and daily life wherever I go.
Good conversations, travel stories, a positive attitude, and a helping hand with everyday tasks. I’m always happy to join in cooking, sports, or group activities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, stories from my travels, and some German language basics. I’m happy to help with cooking, cleaning, or any small tasks around the house. If you like sports, I can show you a few soccer tricks, and if you’re interested in finance, I can share some insights from my work in banking. Above all, I bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and a genuine interest in getting to know you and your culture.
