28 year old easy going dude from beautiful New Zealand. I try to keep it real and down to earth. Music is my main passion but I'm deeply interesting in most forms of artistic expression and learning. I have tried immersing myself in full time creativity, climbing the corporate ladder, and now have decided to dedicate my life to reconnecting with nature and it’s systems as well as be a catalyst for positive growth in other people’s lives.

I’m currently travelling through Europe with my wonderful partner, Mia. Our main focus is to deepen our understanding of permaculture and living off the land with some visiting of cultures along the way.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

One thing I've learnt from travelling and staying mostly in hostels is that nothing compares to knowing a local when exploring and engaging. I stayed in Istanbul for a few days and tried getting around by myself (due to the hostel being quiet) and found myself lost in a sea of tour groups which ruined my experience there.

Had I known of Couchsurfing at the time I would have sought out some locals as it was a difficult city to digest. Not only that, I often found in my travels that the people I’ve met are the main things I take away, more so than the monuments and museums, I'm travelling to see how other people live and experience new things.

And finally of course budget is a big constraint (especially with no source of income) so armed only with a dwindling savings account every decimal point counts and the less I spend, the more I can see/do.

Música, películas y libros

Of course my musical interests are broad (just like most peoples) but lately I gravitate towards; UK leftfield bass and breaks, hip-hop & trap, folk, ambient, and afrobeat/rnb.

In terms of films I'll usually enjoy anything where it feels like the people making it really care about their craft. I really enjoy some french art house stuff but am a sucker for nostalgia and a cheap laugh too.

Early multimedia abuse has ruined my attention span but I've been trying to read again, mostly non-fiction and poetry.

I'm a pretty extraverted guy and know a little bit about a lot of stuff so can usually offer up something in a conversation and enjoy exploring all sorts of concepts. I'm still learning to cook but can whip up a few decent dishes, I don't mind a bit of house work of course and I'm sure I can recommend some good music for you too!
