About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I came from Germany in September 2011 to Pittsburgh to do a voluntary service in the LGBTQ community. I guess my mission is to make the world fabulous!

ABOUT ME

I think I'm an outgoing and fun person. I always try to make people laugh. I always try to get to know new things and to understand how the world functions. I try to learn from everyone I meet and also to open myself up for others so they understand my beliefs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm fairly new to CS but I like the idea of sharing it's own experiences with all the surfers.
I know a couple of CouchSurfers but I have never surfed or hosted yet.
But I'm totally willing to make my first CouchSurfer experiences!

Interests

Generally I'm really interested in all cultural things: Whether dancing to your favorite musician at a concert, sipping at a glass of wine at a gallery opening or just freaking out at a good old college party.
I would consider myself a music lover. I have more than 35 days of music on my hard drives.
Also, I'm interested in all kinds of social and political activity. Whether it's a demonstration or any other voluntary based event - I'm always in!
I'm really serious about LGBT-human rights and injustice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't think there was a movie I didn't like. It does not mean I have low standards. I always find a good aspect of the film.

As described, I like music (Who doesn't?). That's what I mostly listen to:
Indierock, Indietronica, Electronica, (Brit-)Pop, Hard/Punkrock, Electro, Raggae, Ska and folky stuff...
My hard drive is filled with music from Brittany Spears over Manu Chao over...over...over...over...over to The Skatoons.

Books. These are the big ass things you read when you actually find the time to read them, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Dancing to some great bands in front of Europe's biggest stage at the biggest festival in Poland with over 700,000 other crazy people.
2. I just thing I have the most amazing friends on the world and I experienced so many wonderful moments with them. It's hard to describe how much they mean to me. I just know that every moment with them made the person I am today.
