About Me

I'm in San Diego CA USA
SEND ME YOUR USA MOBILE/CELL NUMBER IF YOU WANT TO REACH ME. I can't host big groups. I live fairly far from downtown and the beach. It would probably take an hour by bus or 15 minutes by car with no traffic.
If you're going to be in san diego for more then a few days buy a used bicycle, the bike lanes and paths are getting more numerous every month.
Decobike rents expensive bikes by the hour or you can get a bike for a day for about $25.

ABOUT ME
Each surfer needs a completed profile and recognizable face photo.
Preference to surfers with positive references and who have hosted couchsurfers.
I only speak English and broken Espanol.
I've traveled to about 15 countries.
I like surfers that are open minded, interesting, well traveled, into the outdoors.
I love water, lakes, rivers and oceans. I love mountains, rocks, trees, deserts
Been to that thing in the desert 8 times.
Like rock music.
I don't smoke.
I drink socially.
I'm a California native.
I Also use http://www.hospitalityclub.org and http://globalfreeloaders.com/
Ive got a degree in journalism.

PHILOSOPHY

If you are on this site you should have hosted people or be willing to host at some point.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted around 20 and stayed with several.
I Also use http://www.hospitalityclub.org and http://globalfreeloaders.com/
travel hosting websites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted 20 travelers and stayed at a bunch of people's houses through various websites. CS biggest flaws are that the vast majority of users do not host and apparently now everything on your profile is owned by their corporation.

Interests

I like swimming, scuba, trekking/hiking, rock climbing and biking. Looking forward to traveling to a bunch more countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

San Diego has many good hostels and a few bad ones. Between Lyft, Uber, bike, trolley and bus you can get around without a car.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're going to be in san diego for more then a few days buy a used bicycle, the bike lanes and paths are getting more numerous every month.
Decobike rents expensive bikes by the hour or you can get a bike for a day for about $25 from my vendors.
Day passes for the trolley (light rail/ small train) and bus system cost about $5.
Mexico is a 30+ minute trolley ride south of downtown. You'll need a passport even if walking across the border for an hour. You can walk to downtown Tijuana from the border.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
