ABOUT ME

I've always loved to push my boundaries. To move outside my comfort zone and try something totally different. When I think of times when I've taken those chances, they are some of my most cherished memories. Sometimes it's hard because it's just so easy to do what feels comfortable, to live in the warm safe world of routine; but I want to live a life of stories. At the end of the day I want to be able to sit back and have few regrets, a few scars perhaps, a lot of stories hopefully, but few regrets. That's a bit much though so right now I just want to do a bit of traveling and mix in an adventure or two.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to maintain balance, to try strange food and meet strange people, to have a career that has meaning, to keep my mind open, to stay in touch with the people that matter, to always appreciate how lucky I am, to offer to others what I've been offered, and to travel, always to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't actually participated at all, but I'm hoping to use it while traveling in Europe and then return the favor by hosting a few people once i get back the the states

I'm totally new to this, but I've crashed with strangers before while traveling and I think this is a fantastic idea.

Interests

Well I like to read, but only if the book is good. However I quite enjoy terrible movies. I'm pretty into running, but not pretentiously into it. I love a good afternoon nap on occasion. I also really like hiking and other outdoorsy stuff. I think good company and good food are the best things in the world. My favorite color is blue. My favorite food is peanut butter and jelly.
